WHY do you believe you can make a difference?
Your purpose or the WHY guides you and your actions. It articulates “why I do what I do” and “why I serve a higher purpose”.
Your WHY is guided by the deeply-held values and beliefs that will inspire and motivate you to make a difference in peoples’ lives.
At the centre, your core values will form the foundation for your beliefs about life, about you and those around you, and about your human potential.
These values and beliefs will then form your attitudes in life and will guide your behaviour.
The behaviours that you are engaged in are what people around you will see, along with the application of your skills and actions.
Your actions will ultimately give you the outcome that you are seeking to achieve.
Your positive mental attitude is your real ‘boss’ in life. While your time and labour may be subject to the demands of your employer or other people, your mind is the only thing that cannot be controlled by anyone else but you.
When you take full control of your attitude towards the rest of your life, you are taking control of your lives.
Your attitude towards planning and goal-setting will ultimately determine the outcomes – positive or negative – you will achieve and experience for the rest of your life.
